    The Vertex Companies, Inc. (VERTEX) is offering a B2B Marketing and Business Development Internship Opportunity in our Denver, Colorado office. VERTEX is a rapidly growing, multi-discipline A/E/C consulting firm that is experiencing exponential growth,  and  we’re  looking  to  augment our team of talented individuals. This is a part-time, paid internship.


    The Marketing and Business Development Intern’s responsibility is to assist in development and cultivation of the new business pipeline that relates to Construction, Engineering, Environmental, and Forensic Consulting.


    Core Responsibilities

    • Assisting Business Development Team with lead generation and prospect qualification in multiple geographic markets
    • Assist in identifying and analyzing competitors
    • Recording Business Development activity with VERTEX’s CRM database
    • Attending trade conferences as necessary
    • Preparation of meeting materials
    • Preparation of Marketing material




    • Working toward a Bachelor’s degree; preferred focus on Marketing or Communications

    Knowledge & Skills

    • Must be organized and efficient in task execution
    • Must be able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Must be flexible, adaptable and be able to work on a task by task basis
    • Business development, sales or client relationship management experience is a plus

    • Must possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
    • Must be able to commit to 20 hours per week in our Denver office
