    Responsibilities

    The Vertex Companies, Inc. (VERTEX) is a fast growing, global AEC firm and we have an immediate need for a full time Data Manager to join our corporate office for the summer. The successful candidate will support multiple attorneys in a legal department setting by performing diversified, confidential functions.  Additionally, the successful candidate will help manage, collect and analyze data to support internal operations and ongoing client services.

     

    This position requires attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is also required. Candidates with some experience in data management or data analysis are preferred. The successful candidate will report daily to the Weymouth, MA office with ability to work independently.

     

    Legal Administrative Assistant/Data Management Temporary Position

     

    Core Responsibilities

    • Provide support to both Junior and Senior level legal staff.
    • Dedupe, merge and purge database record details with extreme attention to detail.
    • Research and file reviews to ensure correct information is maintained and matched up properly.
    • Ability to collect and maintain confidential information while formulating techniques to ensure accuracy and legitimacy of data.
    • Other project duties as assigned by senior staff.
    • Assist with reports and data extraction when needed.

    Position Requirements

    •  Able to perform detail oriented work with minimal oversight.
    • An analytical mindset with problem-solving skills. 

    Education

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma Required.  Bachelor’s Degree and/or professional certifications preferred.  

    Experience

    • Previous experience in data archiving, data management or legal administration at a mid-size to large, multi-office company preferred.  

    Knowledge and Skills

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
    • Effective communicator, verbal and written.
    • Efficient, well-organized and positive attitude when approached with challenges. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on assigned work in a timely manner.
    • Ability to prioritize work effectively.
