    Responsibilities

    Optistar Technology Consultants, Inc., a VERTEX company, is looking for an Inside Sales Associate who welcomes challenge to join our team.  Optistar is a small, growing, multi-national managed IT service provider (MSP).  Are you looking for a fast-paced atmosphere and working with other highly skilled team members? If so, this is the right opportunity for you! 

     

    The Inside Sales Associate we are looking for will be working directly with our senior sales team to follow up on the leads coming into our office to schedule appointments, field questions, follow up on inquiries, send out information packages and assist in maintaining the integrity of the company’s database.

     

    Core Responsibilities

    • Maintain active engagement with new and existing contacts using creative follow-up communications designed to increase customer interest.
    • Maintain an aggressive outbound call volume and initiate outbound. interaction with our prospect base of 1000+ potential customers.
    • Respond/qualify incoming web and phone inquiries.
    • Set up meetings between qualified prospects, clients and Account Managers.
    • Manage CRM software to ensure that prospecting and account management activity is properly recorded, analyze new leads, and track client interaction.
    • Exceed monthly goals of qualified opportunities, quality contacts and daily activities.

    Position Requirements

    • Must possess excellent communication and writing skills.
    • B2B technology business development experience preferred.
    • Highly driven with a powerful sense of urgency.
    • Great attitude.
    • Loves building relationships with people and providing a true “Wow” experience.

    Qualifications

    Education

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related field preferred.

     

    Knowledge & Skills

    • 1-2 years of marketing and or business development experience required.
    • Familiar with CRM software.
    • Exceptional organizational skills.
    • Must be able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Must be flexible, adaptable and be able to work independently.
    • Ideal candidate also has experience setting appointments in a business-to-business environment.
