    Responsibilities

    Optistar Technology Consultants, Inc., a VERTEX company, is looking for an Inside Sales Associate!  Working directly with our senior sales team, your day-to-day activities include following up on warm, prequalified leads coming into our office, develop a rapport with potential clients, educate on our suite of services, determine alignment between client needs and Optistar's solutions, schedule appointments for our CTO's (Account Managers), field client questions, follow up on all client inquiries, send out information packages and assist in maintaining the integrity of the company’s database.

     

    Core Responsibilities

    • Maintain active engagement with new and existing contacts using creative follow-up communications designed to increase customer interest.
    • Maintain an aggressive outbound call volume and initiate interaction with our prospect base of 1000+ potential customers.
    • Respond/qualify incoming web and phone inquiries.
    • Set up meetings between qualified prospects, clients and Account Managers.
    • Manage CRM software to ensure that prospecting and account management activity is properly recorded, analyze new leads, and track client interaction.
    • Meet your monthly goals of qualified opportunities and earn your bonus...exceed that goal and double it!

    Position Requirements

    • Must possess excellent communication and writing skills.
    • B2B technology business development experience preferred.
    • Highly driven with a sense of urgency and excellent follow-through .
    • Great attitude...positive, transparent, be a "learner" not a "knower"
    • Loves building relationships with people and providing a true “Wow” experience.

    Qualifications

    Education

    • Sales can't be taught in a classroom, its an inherent part of who you are...no degree required.  But if you have one, that's great too! 

    Knowledge & Skills

    • Minimum 2 years of marketing and or business development experience required.
    • Familiar with CRM software.
    • Exceptional organizational skills.
    • Must be able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Must be flexible, adaptable and be able to work independently.
    • Ideal candidate also has experience setting appointments in a business-to-business environment.
